My wife and I were first home buyers so were somewhat daunted by the whole mortgage process and having to deal with the banks.  After talking to a couple of mortgage brokers and not really liking the ‘feel’ of them, we were given Bernie’s number.  A few hours after calling he was around at our place to discuss our situation and find out what we needed.  There were several occasions where we changed our minds about the structure of the mortgage and Bernie was always available to request new documents and get them delivered ASAP.  We are very happy with the deal Bernie was able to broker for us; it was more competitive than we were expecting being low-equity first home buyers.  We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bernie to out friends and family.
